“We’re announcing it at Thanksgiving dinner. The whole family will be there.

We thought it would be nice. A celebration of Maria’s success and Grandpa’s legacy continuing through her.”

I looked out my office window at the Austin skyline. Through the glass, I could see the bronze plaque by my door.
