Because, honestly, I didn’t know. Frank had never mentioned a Michael Grant. Whit Coleman, Frank’s attorney, stepped away from the dining room table and walked toward the man. “Mr. Grant,” Whit said quietly, “I believe we’re ready.” “Ready for what?” Ross snapped. Whit turned. “For the reading of your father’s final instructions.”

Ross laughed.

Not because anything was funny.
