When she arrived and saw them in person, time seemed to stop. Two grown women — beautiful, confident, yet complete strangers. They looked at her cautiously, without recognition.
“This can’t be…” she whispered, her hands trembling as she pulled out an old photograph of two ten-year-old girls. The young women glanced at each other — and one of them turned pale. It turned out they had been kidnapped and sold to a childless couple who raised them under different names.
Their past had been completely erased — no one ever searched for them because all traces had vanished. They didn’t remember who they really were. But when their mother showed them the photo, the necklaces, and the small scar on one girl’s knee, the world seemed to turn upside down.
Tears welled up in their eyes — as if, deep inside, they had always known that someone out there was waiting for them. And when the mother embraced her daughters for the first time in twenty years, she whispered:
