I (26F) went on a “family trip” with my in-laws two weeks ago.
My mother-in-law has always considered me a bit “ignorant” and “backward.” She believes that because I come from a lower-class family compared to hers, I lack proper “etiquette.”
When we arrived at the hotel, they arranged a dinner outing at an upscale restaurant. My husband didn’t tell me about it until the very last minute—after he was already dressed and ready to leave.
